Alla Romana collects no data. We have no servers and receive nothing of what you enter. The app contains no ads, no trackers, no analytics tools, and uses no third-party login.
Expenses, groups, participants, payments and receipts stay on your device and in your iCloud account (Apple CloudKit private and shared databases), which we cannot access. They sit behind the same protections as your Apple Account.
If you use iCloud, your data syncs across your devices. When you share a group, that group's data becomes accessible to the people you invite — always through iCloud and under Apple's control. The app never sends your data to any other server. Without iCloud the app still works, but the data stays on that one device.
If you attach a receipt photo, the image is resized on the device and stored with the expense in your iCloud. The automatic reading of receipt data (amount, date) happens entirely on the device.
The only external service used is Apple iCloud, for sync and sharing. Apple's Privacy Policy applies. There is no other provider.
Because the data is in your own iCloud, the control is yours. From the app you can review it, export it (PDF or CSV report of each group) and delete it: Settings → "Delete my data" removes the groups you own and leaves the ones shared with you. There is no need to contact us.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
