By using Decumanus you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
There is no account to create: your identity is your iCloud. You are responsible for the device and the iCloud account you use. You must be at least 13 years old.
You keep ownership of everything you put in: places, notes, photos, journal pages. It stays in your iCloud; we do not access it. By sharing a trip or a list you make its contents visible to the people you invite.
If you import a Google Takeout archive or a KML file, those contents are yours and stay yours: the app reads them on the device and saves them in your iCloud. It is up to you to make sure you have the right to use the files you import.
The app is meant for organising personal trips, alone or with the people you share them with. Do not use it for unlawful activity or to harass others.
The app is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of errors or interruptions.
In particular: times, travel durations, distances, positions and opening hours are indicative and come from map services that can be wrong or out of date. Some legs are estimates the app computes rather than measured routes, and the app says so when they are. Do not rely on Decumanus for critical decisions — a flight to catch, a border to cross, a last-minute return: always check the official sources. Maps saved for offline use are images taken in advance and may be out of date.
You can delete your data at any time from within the app. Since we run no accounts, we cannot suspend you: the app is yours and local.
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the competent court is the one where the consumer resides.
