Ora d'aria — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026 · donbreda4@gmail.com

In short

Ora d'aria does not collect any data. We have no servers and receive nothing you enter. The app contains no ads, no trackers, no analytics, uses no third-party logins, and makes no network request to anyone but Apple.

Where your data lives

Your shifts stay on your device and in your iCloud account (Apple CloudKit private database), which we cannot access. They sit behind the same protections as your Apple account. Without iCloud the app still works; your data simply stays on the device.

Roster photos

If you photograph a printed roster, it is read entirely on device: text recognition with Apple Vision and, where available, interpretation with on-device Apple Intelligence. No image is ever uploaded anywhere, and the app does not keep the photo.

Calendar

If you choose to export your shifts, the app writes events into a dedicated “Ora d'aria” calendar through the system permission. It reads only that calendar — to update its own events without creating duplicates — and transmits nothing to anyone.

Third parties

The only external service used is Apple iCloud, for sync across your devices. Apple's Privacy Policy applies. There is no other provider.

Your rights (GDPR)

Since the data is in your iCloud, you are in control: you can view, edit and delete it directly in the app, day by day or month by month. Deleting the app and its iCloud data (iOS Settings → your name → iCloud) leaves nothing behind. There is no need to contact us.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
